Work Experience—I taught Physical Education in Benton Wisconsin for 4 years. I coached varsity and junior varsity girls’ volleyball, varsity girl’s basketball, and girl’s track and field. I have worked as a teacher director at Little Lamb Preschool for 23 years.
The Early Years—I grew up living in Madison Wisconsin, Broomall Pennsylvania (Philadelphia Suburb), Mount Prospect Illinois (Chicago Suburb), and Sun Prairie Wisconsin.
Family—I am married to Tom, a State Farm Insurance Employee. We have 3 children. Kurt, a reading specialist at the junior high level in Chicago, Kristen, an attorney in San Diego, and Erik, who will graduate from Illinois State University in May with an English degree. We also have 2 dogs in the family, Jo and Otis.
Education—I graduated from the University of Wisconsin Platteville with majors in Physical Education and Elementary Education and a minor in Health.
Hobbies—I enjoy wood crafts, stained glass work, and am learning to quilt. I bike when the weather allows. Tom and I follow Wisconsin Badger Football and Basketball. We are Green Bay Packer and Chicago Cubs fans.
